How to Install Cisco Packet tracer on Ubuntu

Packet Tracer is a cross-platform visual simulation tool designed by Cisco Systems that allows users to create network topologies and imitate modern computer networks.

For beginner’s who practicing of CCNA or more, it’s best for them. In this article I am going to show you how to Install Packet Tracer on Ubuntu or any other Linux Distribution.

For that we need to download .tar.xz file as per your system architecture x86 or x64 and  extract it easily.

Download Cisco Packet Tracer Click Here (It required netacad.com account so create account first and then download it.) Because you need to login your account after installing it.

After extracting open terminal and type

sudo ./install

It ask like to set default location and else so confirm it and Yeah..!! It’s done. (As I said you need to login netacad account that you already created)  and It’s ready to use. for better understanding go with the virtual learning.
